You might tried to install XP RTM on a machine with PCIe slots... Might experienced PCI.SYS BSOD? Heres the fix i found:
1: Unpack XP RTM files to a folder.
2:Unpack XP SP1 files to another folder. You can unpack DRIVER.CAB or SP1.CAB.
DO NOT change PCI.SY_ to .SYS. The file would be corrupted!
3: Unpack XP RTM DRIVER.CAB and add the PCI.SY_. from XP SP1 CAB. This also works for USB drivers.
Pack everything back to .CAB and replace RTM DRIVER.CAB with modified DRIVER.CAB.
You're done!
